WVU Football continues to build their roster for the 2026 season as the Mountaineers secured commitments from three more transfers on Sunday. While two of the commitments should help sure up the West Virginia defense, the other commitment fulfilled a previous promise made by the coaching staff to potentially revive the fullback position at WVU.
Kayden Luke, a transfer from Arizona, is the player that will be tasked with achieving that feat. The 5’11, 249-pounder will spend his final two years of eligibility in Morgantown allegedly lining up in the position that was once occupied by the great Owen Schmitt in this West Virginia offense.
As for the defensive transfer additions, both Coastal Carolina Edge Rusher Ezekiel Durham-Campbell (8 TFLs & 5.5 Sacks) and Villanova Linebacker Jason Hall (4.5 TFLs & 3.5 Sacks) are expected to help improve the WVU pass rush.
