A preview of what to expect from the upcoming Bob Huggins documentary sparked a big reaction all over social media.
Many of Huggins’ former players, staff members and even coaching peers took the time to offer their thoughts about Huggins.
With a life and career made for a movie, Bob Huggins will have his story detailed in an upcoming documentary.
To add to the hype, a trailer of what to expect was released on Tuesday night by host of LockedOn West Virginia Mountaineer Paul.
In the trailer, former WVU players like Da’Sean Butler, Miles “Deuce” McBride and Joe Mazzulla along with Kenyon Martin, who played under Huggins at Cincinnati, and even fellow Hall of Fame coaches Bill Self and John Calipari.
Huggins, now 72, owns 935 career wins, which ranks in the top 10th on the all-time wins list amongst coaches. He led both Cincinnati (1992) and WVU (2010) to an appearance in the Final Four. Huggins was named Big 12 Coach of the Year in 2015 and was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022.
