ESPN Ranks WVU Among Top 50 2025 Recruiting Classes

Wednesday, ESPN’s Craig Haubert released an article ranking the Top-50 college football 2025 recruiting classes and it featured West Virginia.

The Mountaineers were ranked No. 43. They have one ESPN (Top) 300 recruit in running back Deandre Desinor.

WVU was ranked above Minnesota, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Virginia and Texas Tech. They were one of seven Big 12 teams on the list, along with UCF, TCU, Utah, Kansas State, Baylor, and Texas Tech.

According to 247Sports, the Mountaineers have 22 commits in total. Other notable commits for West Virginia are quarterback Scotty Fox, defensive lineman Taylor Brown, and defensive lineman Brandon Caesar, whom ESPN has as their top defensive prospect.
