In an appearance on the podcast “Athletic Aesthetic,” freshman wide receiver Rodney Gallagher teased the possibility of new uniforms for the WVU football team next season.
During the podcast, Gallagher participated in a segment called “youniforms,” where he would then design a uniform of his choice for WVU. After describing the uniform he would create, which he chose black as the color for, Gallagher said, “So we’re getting a whole new set of uniforms next year, so, basketball just got black uniforms too.”
West Virginia has not received new uniforms since 2019, the first year that Neal Brown arrived.
