The Mountaineer Ticket Office announced their single-game ticket allotment for the Backyard Brawl against Pitt sold out on Monday.
WVU hosts rival Pitt for the first time since 2011. The Mountaineers travelled to Pittsburgh last fall, and fell 38-31 to the Panthers.
West Virginia announced fans can still purchase tickets through their mini packages, which includes tickets for three home games this year. Fans can also purchase single-game tickets through WVU’s ticketing partner SeatGeek.
WVU’s game against Pitt is on Sept. 16, at 7:30 p.m., and will be televised on ABC. The game will also be WVU’s annual Stipe the Stadium game.
