West Virginia football added to their 2023 class on Thursday, when they secured the commitment of Judah Price. Price, who was the 2022-2023 West Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year is staying home he announced on Twitter.
Price is a 5-foot-9 running back from Independence High School, and rushed for 2,587 yards and 49 touchdowns this past season while helping lead his school to their first state title. Price set the single-season-state-record with 42 successful two-point conversions and also broke the state’s single-season scoring record with 396 total points.
Price visited West Virginia back in early April. Price was also named WV MetroNews’ Player of the Year.
On Twitter, Price announced the commitment saying, “100% committed.”
