Two Mountaineers who had become fan favorites in Morgantown, competed against each other on Thursday night.
Bryce Ford-Wheaton and Dante Stills competed in the East-West Shrine Bowl, with Ford-Wheaton competing with the West team and Stills with the East team.
Ford-Wheaton’s West team beat the East 12-3, while he also caught one pass for 18 yards. Stills also made multiple plays in the game, after turning heads throughout the week.
“I had a great time, I learned a lot, I made a couple plays,” Stills said. “I had a great week.”
One of Stills’ plays came in the fourth quarter, as he was able to shoot into the backfield and get a tackle for loss.
Ford-Wheaton and Stills leave behind two great legacies at West Virginia as they both look to find their way to the next level.
