Former Mountaineer Tyler Orlosky has been hired as the newest offensive line coach for the Lenoir-Rhyne football team.
Lenoir-Rhyne, a Division II school in North Carolina, hired Orlosky after he was the Associate Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/O-Line Coach for Ohio Dominican University, another Division II program.
“We are excited to have coach Orlosky join the LR football staff,” said Lenoir-Rhyne head coach Mike Jacobs of Orlosky. “The offensive line is arguably the most challenging group to coach, and we feel he is the perfect fit for our program.”
Orlosky previously served on West Virginia’s coaching staff as a graduate assistant from 2018-2021. Orlosky spent a small period of time with the Philadelphia Eagles as he was signed as an un-drafted free agent.
Orlosky played at WVU from 2013-2016, playing in 50 games. He was the starting center and in 2016 was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, which is awarded to the nation’s top interior offensive lineman.
